Sea trials.

Today we had the big sea trial day. We packed the side car machine up to around expected capacity and went to see a friend of mine (Lars) who collect vehicles. The bikes all behaved well but got a little hot so we are contemplating changing the weight of the oil.

The visit to Bertil Lundgren was very rewarding. Bertil is an avid vehicle collector (mostly motorcycles but also amazing vintage motorcars). We were duely impressed by Bertil, his hospitality and wonderful collection. Many thanks, Bertil! Also many thanks for helping us with a malfunctioning lightbulb and supplying us with a sollution to a rear window (correction> MIRROR (thanks Pat!)) problem. The picture shows the team at Bertil's residence and it was taken and emailed by him.

The ride home was a bit scary since my bike got overly hot and begun to smoke. It had consumed an almost scary ammount of oil so the shift to the heavier weight is probably a good thing.

Tomorrow is packing day. Two more days and we set out. This has been in planning for so long and we are so close now..
