The team goes to Germany

Next day, the rain gave some false hopes of stopping, but it really didn't want to. We went to the highly efficient Rodby-Rostock ferry and were aboard in no time at all, had breakfast of sausages and fish cakes in one of the restaurants and before long, we had arrived in Germany. Not much happened during our rather long haul to the camping inside Hamburg except for rain. Lars-Inge tested the GPS he is going to use in Italy but it had this inclination for Autobahn instead of the small roads we had hoped for.
The camping is cramped, graveled and OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. How about 52 Euros for a small slot of gravel between two camper trucks?
However! Our cook Miles (hitherto referred to as 'Cookie') stepped up to his call and after a shopping raid, he whipped up the most scrumptious omelettes you ever saw on the military kerosene stove mounted at the back of Nimbelle, using the top of the side car as a side board. The kerosene stove (or 'squad kit', as it is called by the team) has become Miles' pride and joy and he do not have enough good words for it. It also fits perfectly on Nimbelles baggage rack. Just as if was made for it. Good stuff. Miles was promptly promoted to chef for his fine work.
Tomorrow we will be on the train towards the sun. I just can't wait.
